It’s the first day of December and the official start of the Christmas countdown! Lights and trees are going up, the mulled wine is being, well – mulled, and the Christmas markets are buzzing! To mark this festive of days, here is the first of my Christmas Gift Edits. Now, if I had it my way, gifts would consist of mostly baked goods and hugs. The first because, well, baked goods! The second, because they are free and the best kind of gift you can get. But, I digress, here is the first of the series – gifts for that street-style blog reading, fashion week watching, sale-hopping fashion lover in your life. What I like to call – The Fashion Fan.
Clockwise from top left: Topshop Squeeze Pom-Pom Velvet Slippers; J.CREW Crystal Cluster Earrings; Madewell University Stripe Scarf; COS Graphic Print Top; ‘I Love Your Style’ by Amanda Brooks; Refinery29: Style Stalking by Piera Gelardi and Christene Barberich; Rebecca Minkoff Mini Avery Tote
It’s always nice to be able to add some new staples to refresh your wardrobe when the weather changes and invest in some key pieces that can be versatile but also, and this is always a must – be comfy. From oversized scarves draped around the shoulders to chic knee-grazing coats, here are a few – both whimsical and practical – staple selections from the high street to bring a bit of warmth to your wears.
